From the north coastal area, take Highway 1 south to W. Jefferson Boulevard. Go west to Culver Boulevard, then continue west to Vista Del Mar. Follow Vista Del Mar south to Dockweiler State Beach.

From I-405 take the I-105 exit west, which becomes the Imperial Highway, leading directly to the entrance to Dockweiler State Beach.
