Sonoma Coast State Park has two standard campgrounds and two primitive environmental campgrounds:
Situated right on the edge of Wright's Beach, the campground is a popular destination. The sound of the surf lulls campers to sleep. Early morning walks on the beach are only steps away.
The premium sites are closest to the ocean and cost $10 more per night than the standard sites. There are no showers at Wright's Beach Campground, but campers are permitted to drive down to Bodega Dunes Campground and use the showers there. The campground has no hook-ups for RVs. A dump station is located at Bodega Dunes Campground. During times when the campgrounds are crowded, an overflow area is available for self-contained RVs.
Bodega Dunes Campground is on the north side of the Bodega Harbor and about a 15-20 minute walk from South Salmon Creek Beach. The town of Bodega Bay is within easy walking distance to the east. Porto Bodega, an RV park and marina, is right across the road from the campground.
