Manchester Beach Camping
The campground at Manchester State Park is set about one-half mile back from the beach, giving it some protection from the wind that often is blowing hard. Some of the sites nearest to Kinney Road are rather exposed, but others back among the cypress trees and have more shade. Manchester is known as a quiet campground.
The environmental campsites that were ounce out by Lake Davis have been permanently closed.
The campground is located off Highway 1, a half mile north of the town of Manchester. The campground is open from late April through mid- September. Forty family campsite areas spread along several loops. A group site for from 9 to 40 people is separate from the main campground. A Hike and Bike campsite is also available.
Each campsite can accommodate trailers up to 22 feet, RVs to 30 feet, and tents. There are no hook-ups. A table and fire ring are at each site and water is nearby.
